ComColor FT5230 uses a 3-Tier colour billing system, which can drastically reduce your colour printing costs. Don’t accept paying a flat rate for colour copies, when you could be saving your school as much as 76% on these costs!
Our 3-Tier billing system breaks down colour copies into 3 levels dependent on actual ink coverage. The lowest tier attracts the lowest colour copy price.
The purpose of our PROOF OF CONCEPT project is to demonstrate how cost effective colour printing should be in the education environment. We supply schools with ComColor FT5230 and free ink for a period of 2 weeks. During this time, the school is encouraged to print however they like. At the end of the trial we are able to determine exactly how many colour copies were done in each of the 3 Tiers, enabling us to analyse and prove the cost savings of our solution.
Our research has shown that the majority of schools do approximately 70% of their colour prints in Tier 1. We have already been able to save schools that have participated in this project 76% on their colour printing costs, and 31% on their mono printing costs.
With this system, managing your prniting costs becomes a breeze. At any point in time, you are able to pull a usage report to display exactly how many copies have been made, and which Tier they fall under. You can also limit access to colour printing with individual user access codes.

RISO ComColor Inkjet Printers operate with a cold print process, slashing the energy costs of convetional copiers.
